KEY ACHIEVEMENTS.

Collaborating with Contractors:
Time was key for the client, so we collaborated with the ongoing contractors to optimise and synchronise our programmes. We devised concurrent sequencing with other contractors to ensure we delivered the programme betterment.

Working with Neighbours in Mind:
Community management was an issue due to the proximity of local residents and the area’s high foot traffic due to the proximity of the Southbank Centre, The National Theatre, and Waterloo Station.

All works had to be carefully monitored to ensure the site did not exceed the strict noise and vibration limitations in the area.

Removing Eight Football Pitches of Asbestos:
The undertaking was huge, with our Environmental Services moving from floor to floor over the 18 stories and the three extra studios to remove 600 tonnes of asbestos.

The Works were completed utilising bespoke scaffolding and specifically designed multi-level and faceted enclosures, all of which required intricate and large-scale planning. All works were carried out under fully controlled conditions.
