SIGNIFICANT REFURBISHMENT AND EXTENSION WORKS TO REDEVELOP FORMER HOSPITAL BUILDING, ARTHUR STANLEY HOUSE

Arthur Stanley House, located at 40-50 Tottenham Street in the Fitzrovia district of central London, will see significant refurbishment and extension works.

The development consists of the refurbishment of the existing 8-storey former hospital building, Arthur Stanley House, where McGee will deliver the structural cut and carve works and installation of finished structural steel.

For the ‘new building’, we will complete demolition, enabling and piling works, along with the construction of a 4-storey grade III basement and new 8-storey RC frame.

Logistically, this is a very difficult site in a busy central London location and presents restricted access piling and a tight working area for the construction of the basement.

The mixed-use scheme will provide flexible office floor space, ten new residential units, and provision for a GP surgery.

We are holding our next monthly drop-in consultation on the 24th of April at the Fitzrovia Centre, 2 Foley Street, Fitzrovia, W1 6DL at the following times:

  • 10am ground floor
  • 6pm (oven room)

These sessions will provide opportunities for our neighbours to speak to our delivery team.
