Social Value.
We help to build
better futures.
We build better futures by growing talent, employing local expertise, and creating a culture of diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability.
By committing to the communities we operate in, we look to continually improve construction’s reputation beyond the hoarding.
Over 65 years, we’ve supported a diverse range of initiatives across the London Boroughs. We’ve worked with the Metropolitan Police to improve cycle safety, partnered with Primary Schools to talk about safety on site, and partnered with local charities to leave positive legacies.
It’s all part an ethos that sees McGee actively contributing to the communities in which we work through engagement and genuine care.
Giving Back for Brighter Roads Ahead.
One of the greatest rewards of our success is the ability to support many worthy causes.
Over the years, our team have supported numerous charities – local and national, big and small.
Our employees challenge themselves to achieve incredible things:
- Running the London Marathon & Hackney Half
- Cycling in the London to Brighton challenge
- Abseiling the ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower (the UK’s tallest sculpture!)
Nurturing the Next Generation.
We support and nurture the next generation.
Our on-going partnership with BeLambeth has sought to educate students on careers in construction and hosted work experience students to our sites.
Over the years we’ve welcomed graduate engineers and apprentices. It’s these young people that secure the future of our industry, so we take it upon ourselves and our experts to pave their way to success.
Considerate Constructors.
As award-winning considerate constructors, we take immense pride in improving the image of construction,
We actively contribute to the communities in which we work, keeping the traffic flowing and our sites immaculate for our neighbours.
We champion new initiatives in conjunction with local stakeholders such as supporting the City of London and Westminster to achieve their sustainability and social goals.
All our sites are registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).
