Tell us a bit about you?

My name is Philip C Iduh, I am one of the Civil Engineering graduates with McGee. I am a sneakerhead with passion for streetwear fashion. I also enjoy listening to music and organising events with friends.

What’s it like starting out in construction?

It’s been a great experience starting off my engineering career, during my first few months at McGee I found myself developing my practical skills on the spot and applying myself to various tasks every day. The fast-paced environment keeps me on my feet and working alongside others to accurately complete onsite jobs and manage my overall development.

Why engineering?

I’ve always had an interest in high-rise buildings and railway development additionally the development in technology and how it’s used to create/develop such superstructures. Seeing where technology is going, I would love to be a part of the development and hopefully lead one of the projects in the near future.

What’s next?

Next, I plan to develop my engineering knowledge and practical skills, achieve my next qualifications, and explore my involvement in different civil engineering fields.
