In recent weeks McGee has seen a flurry of Considerate Constructor Scheme (CCS) site audits.
Projects including One Nine Elms, 9 Marylebone Lane, Glen House, Park Crescent West, 20 Grosvenor Square and Leicester Square all did exceptionally well in their recent CCS audits, scoring high in all five sections of the Scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice:
- Care about Appearance
- Respect for the Community
- Protect the Environment
- Secure everyone’s Safety
- Value their Workforce
The aim of the scheme is to improve the image of construction and is achieved by monitoring all registered sites and rewarding those that are performing at the highest level.
John McGee, Director, said: “Any score of over 40 in a CCS audit is considered as performance beyond compliance and puts us into the top bracket of Considerate Constructors nationwide. That we are doing this consistently across all our sites, large and small, shows how embedded the culture of industry innovation and best practice has become within our site teams.
“We will keep raising the bar higher, and with the continued support of the sites, McGee’s reputation as industry leaders in delivery, innovation and good practice will continue to grow.”
