McGee, a specialist engineering contractor renowned for delivering high-profile, complex engineering projects, has been honoured with the RoSPA Presidents Award, marking ten consecutive Gold Awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are among the most prestigious and recognised schemes in the world, attracting nearly 2,000 entries every year from organisations committed to the highest standards in health and safety management.
This latest accolade not only recognises McGee’s consistent excellence over the past decade but also reinforces its ongoing commitment to ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of its people and everyone affected by its work.
Mark Goodenough, Health and Safety Director at McGee, said:
“While we’re proud to receive the Presidents Award, this isn’t a moment for back-patting but a reminder of the responsibility we carry every day. Achievements like this are only meaningful if they drive us to keep raising the bar. Complacency has no place in our culture; we remain commitment to doing things ‘The Right Way’.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s Growth Director, said:
“RoSPA regards McGee as a strong example of the importance of making accident prevention central to any successful organisation, not just for the benefit of employees, customers and clients, but also society as a whole.”
McGee’s approach to health and safety is embedded in its wider commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability. With this latest award, McGee continues to lead the way in delivering safer, smarter, and more responsible engineering solutions across the UK.
