Applications for McGee’s 2014 Graduate Programme are now open, offering graduates the prospect of working for one of the largest demolition companies in the world, a broad based construction company and multi-disciplined specialist contractor.
The successful candidates will be working on high profile projects from day one. They will undertake placements predominantly in London and Home Counties – immersing themselves in prestigious projects from inception to completion – to gain a 360° view of the organisation.
Graduates will be supported throughout the Programme by an experienced McGee mentor to ensure they achieve their full professional potential. We invite applications for the Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor or Project Manager Programme today. It’s an outstanding opportunity offering a competitive starting salary, a fast paced environment and the opportunity to make a mark in a business which is proud to invest in the best new talent.
John McGee, Director, said: “With a strategic focus to be the 1st choice contractor or appointed specialist within our chosen markets, it’s vital new recruits gain experience of, and are able to adapt to, different environments and markets. So what better place to start than with McGee’s Graduate Programme, designed to make working across different sectors second nature?”
Lenka Saggers, Learning, Training and Development Manager also commented: “As part of our Recruitment Strategy, we want to nurture the talent of our future. New recruits will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience of delivering projects critical to the success of our business. In return, they will be fully supported in their development and personal growth to enable them to fulfil their full potential. This really is a fantastic opportunity for graduates to join an award-winning business where they’ll have the opportunity to progress through the ranks as well as gaining a wealth of experience along the way.”
One of McGee’s current Quantity Surveyor graduates, Michael Doherty, is based at the Bloomberg Place project. He said: “Gaining experience on such a project has been an excellent way to make the transition from University to professional life and has given me a valuable insight into the role of a QS. As a graduate, you will be joining some of the best people in the industry. It’s the best possible start to a rewarding career.”
Applications opened today, Monday 3rd March, and will close on 31st May, with the Programme set to start in September 2014.
