McGee has been shortlisted in the ‘Marketing Initiative of the Year’ category at this year’s London Construction Awards for their support for Breast Cancer Now’s annual wear it pink campaign.
Emma Attwood, Marketing & Communications Manager, said: “It’s fantastic news that McGee has been shortlisted in the Marketing Initiative of the Year’ category in the 2016 London Construction Awards. London is both invigorating and challenging for any marketing team and we are delighted to be named a finalist in this category. Unveiling our pink tipper truck and seeing hundreds of site employees swap their yellow hi vis vests for pink ones to extend a cascade of pink across our London projects – uniting for a cause that touches the lives of so many – were definitely highlights of the campaign.”
The leading and most prestigious construction awards in London return for a second year after a hugely successful inaugural ceremony at The O2, last year. The awards welcomed a number of high-level attendees from across the industry to celebrate the successes of a wide range of companies from across the capital.
For this year’s remodelled awards, the focus is very much on excellence on the ground and discovering the unsung heroes that consistently deliver outstanding projects, are constantly innovating and are leading the way to provide a safer working environment for all involved.
The 2016 Winners and Runners Up will be announced at a prestigious Gala Dinner on October 26th at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, which is set to be attended by 500+ movers and shakers in the London construction industry.
The awards will be recognising achievements by those that have played a defining role in delivering exceptional quality, innovation and service; and in driving the London construction industry forwards.
