If you celebrated St Patrick’s Day at the colourful central London parade on 13th March, you may have spotted a familiar looking vehicle amongst the dancing, marching, cheering and pageantry.
It was a great honour for McGee to have a vehicle in the parade and to show their support for the Irish Community in London.
Decked in Irish flags, shamrocks and balloons, the McGee Joining Jack lorry was chosen to feature in the parade to help raise awareness for their Charity of the Year that is fighting to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Patricia Ryder, McGee’s Transport Coordinator, accompanied Andy Weston (Driver) on the day. She said: “Being from Ireland it was a great honour to be able to travel in the lorry as the parade made its way through the busy streets of London.”
