Remediation of Contaminated Sites

Our specialist teams provide large and small-scale remediation works for contaminated and asbestos contaminated sites throughout the UK.  To assist our customers with city centre regeneration, housing development projects and brownfield sites intended for redevelopment, we deal with the removal of pollution and contaminants.

Our in-house Pre-Construction team and specialist consultants work in collaboration with clients to develop a Remediation Strategy and Development Plan.

In line with the Development Plan, our teams will remove contaminants and wherever possible we will reuse as much as we possibly can using the DoW CoP providing a sustainable and cost-effective solution.

A range of techniques are used to ensure contaminated soil, groundwater, sediment and surface water is made safe and watercourses are suitably protected.  We use a range of technologies, including thermal desorption, bioremediation, soil vapor extraction and air sparging, soil washing and stabilisation/solidification.  Throughout the project, we also ensure continuous monitoring of atmospheric emissions, noise, and odor whilst working above and beyond to industry best practice.

Remediation is subject to an array of regulatory requirements.  We work to the strictest Health, Safety, and Quality Procedures to ensure our Environmental footprint is limited and our processes are in line with the conditions of the Development Plan.

On completion of the works, we will provide all associated documentation within a Verification Report – including certificates and approvals – and our clients can be confident that their sites are ready for the next stage of development.

Our site and office teams are qualified in the appropriate disciplines and benefit from ongoing training programmes to keep abreast of industry knowledge and the latest regulations and legislation.
