We are seeking a dedicated NEC Planner to join our team and support the successful execution of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and creating initial program based on first principles.
- Developing contract programs for tender submissions.
- Analysing and recommending main contract programs post-project handover.
- Scheduling labour, plant, and material resources and managing the Tender Activity Programme.
- Reviewing the program to align with project objectives and targets and maintaining regular as-built programming.
- Monitoring site progress and highlighting critical path delays.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Project Manager, Construction Manager, Commercial team, and Design team.
- Extracting critical information and communicating changes and obstacles to ensure timely issue resolution and project alignment.
- Analysing risks and developing contingency plans for Commercial and Change Control
- Advising Estimating/Commercial Team on site outputs and liaising with Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on potential commercial events.
- Demonstrate impacts of commercial events on the program and manage program progress and change.
- Attend client meetings to discuss project progress and maintain project delivery.
- Generating and distributing reports on project schedules, progress, and performance indicators, providing regular updates to the Project Manager and Clients as required.
- Ensuring project compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Ideally from an engineering background but this isn’t essential.
- Experience working with NEC Contracts.
- Proficiency in program management software – Primavera P6
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ideally experience working in Aviation experience.
