HELPING TO TRANSFORM HISTORIC ADMIRALTY ARCH

Admiralty Arch, the Grade I listed building on the corner of Trafalgar Square, is to become a luxury Waldorf Astoria Hotel.  It will be transformed and refurbished to become one of London’s finest hotels – and the only one with such unique royal and political heritage dating back to the 1900s.

McGee has been appointed by the Client, Admiralty Arch Holdings Ltd to design and build a new basement box which forms part of the hotel and residential development to the Admiralty Arch building.

Due to the location and complex nature of the project, the works are planned to run for a period of two years.

The restoration and refurbishment will create 100 bedrooms, a state-of-the-art spa, a private members’ club, several restaurants and a small number of private residences.
