Giving back to the community

McGee’s community focus isn’t just about troubleshooting. The company is proud to actively contribute to the communities within which it works and makes an impact.

With thanks to a number of volunteers, McGee has been giving something back to the community with involvement in a number of recent initiatives.

The BIG Tidy Up

Using a Keep Britain Tidy litter kit, volunteers from the Leicester Square project site team (pictured above) helped give the green, opposite the site, a spring clean to help maintain a clean and tidy area for all to enjoy.

Mace Foundation

As part of a Mace Foundation Volunteer Day, volunteers from McGee’s TV Centre project took to the water to enhance the Paddington Arm (Grand Union Canal) in the Kensal area for the Canal & River Trust – collecting litter along the towpath, removing graffiti, cutting back overhanging towpath vegetation and collecting any floating litter.

Marc Byrne, Head of Social Responsibility, commented: “Thank you to all our volunteers for helping to make a difference, for your engagement, commitment and enthusiasm; keep up the good work.”
