We are delighted to announce that McGee has been awarded the ‘Corporate Demolition Innovation Award’ at the 2014 National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) Demolition Awards. Presented by Howard Button, NFDC CEO, McGee was given the award for pioneering the ‘360° Mobile Visual Noise Indicator’.
Taking place on the 21st March at The Dorchester Hotel, London, McGee received the prestigious award at the annual ceremony which was this year presented by guest host, Andrew Castle.
Speaking after the event, John Hennessy, Director – Head of Health, Safety and Environmental Services, said: “Using the skills and expertise of our in-house Research and Development team, headed up by Will Strang – along with our development partner – the ‘360° Mobile Visual Noise Indicator’ helps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our neighbours and employees. It’s a unique innovation that has the potential to be groundbreaking, and it’s a tremendous honour to be recognised for our efforts in bringing innovative solutions to the industry.”
